Responsibilities & Duties
Receiving / Shipping
* Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
* Scan in all incoming distributions and transfers, maintain shipping logs and file all paperwork
* Monitor all un-received cartons and transfers and place the necessary claims with the FGL claims dept
* Sort shipments and distribute product accordingly
* Transfer stock to other stores as requested.
* Transfer and ship all warranties to FGL warehouse
* Detail receive shipments from supply companies and submit the necessary paperwork to head office
* Keep shipping / receiving area clean and organized
* Ensure compliance with OH&S standards
Other Inventory duties
* Assist in the preparation for Physical inventory counts
* Maintain the backroom to the standards set forth in the Backroom Standards and Restocking Manual
Sales Support
* Provide assistance to the sales staff in moving of display units and restocking of merchandise
* Assist in ad set up

* 100% carton control
* All outstanding cartons and transfers claimed within allowable timeframes
Education and Experience required
* Minimum grade 12 education
* Computer experience is an asset

JOB SUMMARY: The Retail Team Sales Manager is responsible for the overall management, staffing, development and training of the C&G Retail team and the overall achievement of agreed upon coverage measures.
Responsibilities:
* Ensures that all reporting Retail Sales Managers work within common set of guidelines and objectives; focused on delivering expected retail calls both in terms of quantity versus plan, but as well the quality of execution within each call.
* Monitor and ensure Company policy is followed by the Retail Selling Organization
* Effectively and properly use NARS technology, communication of retail priorities, and coverage analyses to have an effective feedback and measurement system
* Understand and optimize selling effectiveness of the Retail Sales Organization. Identify necessary training, desired system and work process improvements to maintain an effective retail store coverage model
* Coordinate the regional reporting and tracking needs to ensure consistency and control.
* Act as Trainer to others
* Expert resource to VP, C&G and Business Managers on the effectiveness of both full-time and part-time sales personnel as well as all Operational issues within retail
* Request and analyze specific retail conditions information to develop data-based analyses and improve retail in-store presence results.
* Ensure personal development of District Managers and conduct annual Performance Reviews. Oversee the training and development of full-time and part-time representatives (responsibility of District Managers).
* Conduct on-going recruiting for new Retail Associates
* Maintain incident files for all District Managers, Retail Sales Managers in accordance with Company policy.
Skills Required:
· 5+ years prior retail management experience, food broker and set responsibility experience required.
· Prior supervisory experience is required.
· Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills.
· Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
· Must have a valid drivers license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of time.
· Must be willing and able to work in extremely cold environmental conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores.
· Minimum 2 years experience in positions working within the Convenience Channel, including but not limited to Category Brand Management, Retail Store Management, or Retail Sales Supervisory Experience.
· Knowledge of differing route to market strategies for the Convenience Channel customers.
· Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint would be a major asset to this position.
